Rory MacDonald Takes A MASSIVE Pay Cut In Second Bellator Fight

It would appear that newly crowned Bellator welterweight champion Rory MacDonald has suffered a severe pay decrease since his debut in the promotion.

The mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA hosted an exciting night of fights over the weekend. Fight fans flocked to The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Saturday night, Jan. 20, for Bellator 192.

Co-headlining the night’s event, former UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald made his second appearance under the Bellator banner. For the fight, “Red King” went toe-to-toe with Douglas Lima for the welterweight belt.

The two mixed martial arts warriors went the distance in the title fight match up, with MacDonald ultimately earning a decision victory over his opponent. As reported by MMA Fighting, MacDonald and Lima each earned a guaranteed total of $100,000 for their title fight war.

This total counts as a seemingly massive pay decrease for the former UFC title challenger, as it has formerly been reported that MacDonald earned a total $400,000 for his debut inside the Bellator cage.
