The Once Sold Out UFC 221 Event Is Now Empty, After UFC Offers Refunds For Whittaker Cancellation

Good news for any Australians who were bummed out that they couldn’t get tickets to the upcoming UFC 220 event.

The once sold out show, now has plenty of seats avaialble.

That’s because, in the absence of a Robert Whittaker headliner, ticket holders were offered a refund, and many decided to take the UFC up on that offer.

It would appear as if, without the hometown champion on the card, the fight fans down under have all but lost interest in attending the event live.

Take a look at the once sold out show’s available seating chart as of Wednesday evening:

Robert Whittaker was deemed medically unfit to compete on the night. As a result, tough division contender Yoel Romero is now set to face off against Luke Rockhold for the interim middleweight title in the night’s main event.
