TJ Dillashaw Helping Derrick Lewis Prepare For UFC Return — Wins Today’s Internet

The internet is seemingly having a field day with a recent social media post by UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis.

UFC heavyweight "The Black Beast" Derrick Lewis cried for the first time in five years from the pain due to his injuries.

Derrick Lewis is currently gearing up to face off against Marcin Tybura. The fighters will throw down in a heavyweight war on Feb. 18 inside the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas for UFC Fight Night 126.

In anticipation for the event, Lewis has taken to social media to share a photo of himself facing off with a snake. The Instgram post reads:

“Working on my speed #UFCAustin”

The internet has since become inundated with references to UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw. The fighter earned the infamous moniker of “snake” during The Ultimate Fighter 21. UFC Hall of Famer and Team Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber coached the season across from UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

“Notorious” would go on to refer to Dillashaw as a “snake in the grass.” Dillashaw was training with Duane Ludwig at the time and would go on to leave Team Alpha Male to join Ludwig’s Elevation Fight Team.
