UFC fighters have begun taking to social media to share their reactions to Chael Sonnen’s recent victory over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
Fight fans flocked to The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Saturday, Jan. 20, for Bellator MMA’s most recent highly anticipated fight card. The mixed martial arts promotion hosted Bellator 192 for the Inglewood crowd, offering fight fans a night full of exciting match ups.
In the night’s co-main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson went toe-to-toe with fellow former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen in a heavyweight match up. The fight was the first round within the new Bellator heavyweight tournament grand prix.
The grand prix will take place over multiple fight cards throughout the year and is set to determine the next Bellator heavyweight champion. At Bellator 192, Sonnen and Jackson ultimately went the distance.
Sonnen walked away with a unanimous decision victory over Jackson after spending much of the fight controling “Rampage” with his wrestling prowess. Now many UFC competitors have decided to chime in with their thoughts on the recent match up.
