Update: Uriah Hall Now Conscious After Weigh In Scare, Remains Hospitalized

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now short a co-main event, as Uriah Hall has been transported to the hospital. In a new update, the fighter is now conscious and remains in the hospital following his weigh-in scare.

UFC legend Vitor Belfort has turned down a proposed fight against an unranked UFC middleweight fighter.

UFC Fight Night 124 is set to take place Sunday night, Jan. 14, inside the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The night’s co-main event was initially set to see Uriah Hall go toe-to-toe with MMA legend Vitor Belfort. But, Hall failed to appear at the official weigh-ins for the event. As a result, the fight was pulled from the card.

It was later reported that Hall was transported to the hospital shortly after failing to show to the weigh-ins, but the fighter’s condition was unknown. Now MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani has taken to Twitter to report that Hall was allegedly on weight before the weigh-ins.

Hall reportedly fainted before making it to the weigh-ins. Helwani has been told that the incident “looked scary.” Hall is now conscious and being attended to by medical physicians.
