Conor McGregor Breaks Down What’s Next, And He’s Not Ruling Out Khabib, Or The Diaz Trilogy

It’s been several months since UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor had a fight on the books, and according to the Irish Super Star, he’s still trying to figure out his next move.

With a Diaz trilogy still looming over his head, and a fight with the winner of Khabib vs. Ferguson, McGregor admits he’s currently undecided on what will get him back in the fight game.

Recently, UFC president Dana White has hinted that he will likely strip McGregor of his world title, if the UFC star does not commit to defending his belt by the time the Ferguson vs. Nurmagomedov takes place.

Now Conor McGregor is speaking out about what happens if Floyd decides to crossover to the UFC, what happens between Khabib and Ferguson, a potential big fight in Russia, and of course the Nate Diaz trilogy.

Check it out:

“I’d do as I’d please against [Floyd Mayweather] inside the Octagon. If he does do it — I know he’s flirting with it — I’d have respect for him. I think it would get his earned respect then if he was to step in. He’s engaging, we’re engaging, so we’ll see. I’m currently in negotiations to face my next opponent and we have many options.”

“There’s the current interim lightweight champion, there’s an undefeated Dagistani, there may be a big Russian event. There’s obviously the Diaz trilogy, of course the Mayweather fight is there. We’re just at the table at the moment. Times is good, life is good.”
