UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis pulled himself out of a recent loss with a stunning knockout win over the weekend. The Ultimate Fighting championship (UFC) made a trip to Austin, Texas on Sunday night, Feb. 18, for UFC Fight Night 126.
Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura co-headlined the event in a brutal heavyweight war. Lewis ultimately earned a vicious knockout victory over his opponent, putting the fighter 19-5 in his career.
During his post-fight interview, Lewis made a rather unexpected statement. Speaking to Jimmy Smith, Lewis referenced that he was “going deep.”

To Jimmy Smith: That’s the way I fight. I know you’re new to the game, coming over from Bellator but that’s the way I do it baby.
To his wife: To my baby, April, better get ready girl, I’m going deep.
