Cerrone Bounces Back, Knocks Out Medeiros In The First Round | UFC Results

Well, the time is finally here. UFC welterweight warrior Donald Cerrone is now set to make his next octagon performance. This time, “Cowboy” will be looking to pull himself out of a three fight losing streak as he faces off against Yancy Medeiros.

The two mixed martial arts warriors are headlining Sunday night’s, Feb. 18, UFC Fight Night 126 in Austin, Texas. With the night of fights now underway, Cerrone and Medeiros are walking inside the Frank Erwin Center for the welterweight war. The fight opened at a blistering pace, with “Cowboy” quickly gaining the favor of the cheering crowd. Medeiros and Cerrone began exchanging punch combinations, with Medeiros landing a few stiff jabs to his opponent.

However, Cerrone earned a knockdown over the fighter with the halfway mark of the round. Medeiros collected himself and returned to his feet, but “Cowboy” stunned the fighter with another powerful punch.

Medeiros managed to collect himself once again and entered a brutal exchange with his opponent in the closing moments of the round. However, Cerrone finished his opponent with a furious storm of strikes that forced the referee to call a stop to the contest.
