Garbrandt And Dillashaw Engage in War Of Words On Twitter … And It’s Getting Really Ugly

It’s been a crazy day for former teammates Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw.

After the UFC lost the scheduled UFC 222 main event between Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar, global headlines surfaced that a fight between the two was official as the replacement main event.

As luck would have it though, Dillashaw opted out of the agreed upon fight, in favor of hopefully getting a super fight against Demetrious Johnson.

Dillashaw, who promised to be not like Conor McGregor and defend his belt, will likely be out nine months, if he gets his wish for a July return to action.

For his part, Garbrandt didn’t hesitate to book the fight with the UFC, on just four weeks notice.

These two rivals are now clashing on twitter, as Dillashaw continues to write off the bout with excuse ridden posts.
