Replay: Watch The California Athletic Commission Hand Down Jon Jones’ Guilty Verdict

Following the CSAC hearing for another failed drug test, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will not be making an octagon return in 2018. Now a video of the recent verdict has made its way to the internet.

Jon Jones’ career in the sport of mixed martial arts is filled with ups and downs. The fighter made his way into the conversation of a greatest competitor of all time candidate early on with his multiple stunning performances inside the octagon.

However, Jones has also suffered multiple drug test failures and run ins with the law. The fighter has been stripped of his UFC title a record setting total of three times.

In his most recent incident, Jon Jones failed his drug test for UFC 214. The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) hosted the hearing for the case today.

After hearing Jones’ plea, CSAC fined the fighter the maximum total of $200,000 and revoked Jones’ fighting license. The former champion will not be permitted a chance to apply for a new license until March 2019.

Beyond that, USADA has yet to render their verdict for Jones’ drug test failure. The fighter could receive up to a six year suspension for the incident.
