That Time Cat Zingano Launched Amanda Nunes Off Her Feet With A Beautiful Front Headlock Throw

Women’s UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano has taken on some of the toughest and most talented fighters within the sport of mixed martial arts during her illustrious career. Here is a look back at one of the most stunning moments from the fighting phenom’s time inside the octagon.

Cat Zingano has faced off against world class talent during her tenure with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). From former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate to Raquel Pennington, Zingano has taken out some seriously tough opponents.

Among them, the fighter faced off against now reigning women’s UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes back at UFC 178. The fighter ultimately earned a TKO in the third round of their octagon war.

However, it was the fashion in which Zingano earned her victory that stunned the MMA world. Zingano put on a dominant performance over her opponent, performing impressive techniques of grappling all the while.

At one point in the match, Zingano managed to even flip Nunes off of her feet and onto the canvas from a standing chokehold position. Check it out in the video above.

Cat Zingano is now gearing up to face off against Ketlen Vieira at UFC 222. The event will take place March 3 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
