Tito Ortiz Has Agreed To Fight Chuck Liddell, Following Recent Callout

Surprisingly, former UFC light-heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz has accepted a callout, and agreed to fight Chuck Liddell.

The two rivals fought twice and Tito lost both times via knockout to the “Iceman”.

Chuck Liddell recently challenged two fighters in an interview with TMZ Sports, stating, “It’s still a possibility, for sure,” Liddell said. “So I didn’t want to get too far out of shape. I was in there boxing the whole time. There’s a lot of stuff that they didn’t show but I was just having a good time in there and staying in shape. I’m staying ready.”

“I’ve said it before in the news, Chael would be a good warmup fight to get back into it. Tito would be great if he’d even consider fighting me. I hear he wouldn’t. He doesn’t want to fight me at all. He’ll fight other people but not me, of course.”

“It depends on who they offer,” Liddell said. “I’m down for just about anything.”

Now Ortiz sets the tone for a potential rematch, stating all Chuck has to do is get the deal done.

Here’s Tito’s response:

.@ChuckLiddell funny thing is I told @UFC to put the fight together and they said you were incapable to fight again. Maybe you can twist @DanaWhite ‘s arm. @TMZ_Sports

Of course, this fight could take place under the Bellator banner as well, and Bellator is likely game to strike a deal.
