Cynthia Calvillo Breaks Her Silence On Being Suspended For Pot — Wins This Month’s Internet

When the then undefeated Cynthia Calvillo entered into the UFC ranks, she did so by taking and winning three fights in just a four month timespan.

It seemed like the sky was the limit for the unbeaten Team Alpha Male product, and as such she was matched up with former UFC champion Carla Esparza in her next UFC outing.

Calvillo would go on to lose the bout via decision, a likely big learning experience for the young fighter.

Then, adding insult to injury, she would test positive for Marijuana, getting suspended by USADA for six-months.

After USADA handed down her punishment, the Nevada Athletic Commission would tack on an additional three-months, making her time on the shelf nine straight months.

Typically, when UFC fighters fail for marijuana, they react to the news, and Calvillo is no different… Well, she’s a lot different actually, winning this month’s internet for her hilarious response to getting popped for pot.
