Former UFC Champion Cain Velasquez Removed From UFC Ranks

Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has been officially removed from the UFC top 10 ranks.

Cain Velasquez is a mixed martial arts phenom. That being said, the former title holder’s fighting career has recently been put on hold due to a series of injuries.

The fighter has not competed inside the octagon since earning a first round TKO victory over Travis Browne back at UFC 200 back in 2016. After suffering some debilitating injuries, the former title holder has since been recovering from his wounds and getting back into fighting shape.

That being said, it would appear that the fighter has been removed from the official top ten rankings of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Check out an image of the fighter’s position having been voided and replaced down below:

Cain Velasquez has earned a stunning professional record of 14-2 throughout his storied career in the sport of mixed martial arts. The fighter has earned victories over the likes of fellow former champions Junior dos Santos and Brock Lesnar.
