John Dodson Unable To Come To Terms With UFC, Will Be A Free Agent This Weekend

UFC bantamweight John Dodson will be making the final octagon appearance for his UFC contract over the weekend. With that in mind, the fighter is expected to turn to free agency following the event.

John Dodson is nearing the end of his fight contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Consequently, the fighter recently entered negotiations with the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion in an attempt to cement a new contract.

However, the MMA phenom and the UFC were unable to come to terms. As a result Dodson will be a free agent as of Sunday, March 4.

For his final octagon performance, the fighter will be facing off on the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 222. Dodson will be throwing down will Pedro Munhoz for the arena crowd, as Dodson gets ready to rebound from a recent loss to Marlon Moraes.

UFC 222 goes down March 3 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
