Nate Diaz: ‘I’m not accusing Conor of steroids, but I wouldn’t be surprised!’

UFC superstar Nate Diaz shocked the world when he choked out Conor McGregor on short notice back in 2016. Now the Stockton native has come forward with a new comment concerning “Notorious.”

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor first faced off back at UFC 196. Diaz took the fight on short notice after McGregor’s original opponent backed out. The fight did not last long, as Diaz earned a rear-naked choke submission victory over the fighter within the second round.

The two mixed martial arts warriors faced off in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 202. This time around, the octagon war went the distance. “Notorious” earned a close majority decision victory over his opponent.

Now 1-1 in their heated rivalry, many fight fans are hopeful for a trilogy rematch between Diaz and McGregor. In a recent interview, as head in the video below, Diaz offered his thoughts on the possibility of Conor McGregor being a user of performance enhancing drugs.

“I’m not going to tarnish his name like that, but don’t be surprised if he’s on steroids.” Diaz stated.

The fighter later explained that he is not looking to accuse any fighters from the PED use. “But I’m not singling anybody out.” He said.
