Anderson Takes Out Cummins In UFC’s Televised Opener | UFC Results

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Atlantic City, New Jersey tonight, April 21, for the latest fight card from the promotion. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting the highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 128 for the Atlantic City crowd.

Kicking off the FOX featured preliminary card, light heavyweights Corey Anderson and Patrick Cummins are throwing down in a match for division supremacy. Check out the UFC results below.

The first round kicked of at a blistering pace. Cummins suffered a brutal pummeling of strikes from his opponent early on, as Anderson was seemingly getting the better of the fighter in the exchanges. This was seemingly a dominant round for Anderson.

The second round was seemingly another dominant five minutes for Corey Anderson. The fighter managed to control his opponent from the ground, pummeling the fighter with some devastating ground and pound. Still, Cummins managed to survive to the final round.

The final round slowed down to a methodical pace, as Anderson took his opponent to the canvas quickly after the bell. Cummins failed to make his way back to his feet for much of the round, as Anderson continued to get the better of him in the grappling exchanges.

This one has gone the distance.
