Bellator 198: Adil Benjilany vs. Corey Jackson Put On A War In Rosemont [Spoiler Free]

Bellator MMA is in Rosemont, Illinois tonight, April 28, to host the mixed martial arts promotion’s latest fight card. This time around, the promotion is providing the highly anticipated event of Bellator 198 for the Rosemont crowd.

Continuing the night of fights, featherweights Adil Benjilany and Corey Jackson are going toe-to-toe inside the cage. Check out the Bellator results from the exciting match up down below.

The first round fired off with a furry. Jackson pushed the pressure for much of the round, pelting his opponent with punishing kicks and punch combinations.

However, Benjilany retaliated with a flurry of blows that put Jackson against the fence. This was a dominant round for Benjilany.

The second round continued at a more methodical pace. Jackson appeared to have earned the respect of his opponent on the feet.

Still, Benjilany pushed the pace and pelted Jackson with some damaging blows.

The final round featured a grappling exchange early on, as Jackson forced his opponent into the fence with a clinch. The fighter eventually managed to get Benjilany to the canvas.

However, the fighter was unable to capitalize on the moment with a finish or much significant ground and pound.
