Bruce Buffer Is More Pissed At Conor McGregor Than Anyone Else

Conor McGregor took over the world of mixed martial arts when he knocked out Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title, only to later finish Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight belt as the UFC’s first and only dual division champion. With that in mind, “Notorious” has recently been making headlines for an incident outside of the octagon.

Conor McGregor and the fighter’s large entourage allegedly attacked a bus filled with competitors set to fight at UFC 223 on Thursday, April 5. The attack occurred backstage of the Barclays Center, leaving multiple individuals injured.

Fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg would later be pulled from their UFC 223 bouts due to their sustained injuries. Later turning himself in to police, McGregor is now facing misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, longtime UFC announcer Bruce Buffer, “veteran voice of the octagon,” revealed his unhappiness with the incident.

“I think it is a total disgust.” Buffer said. “We’ll see how it all pans out. There is no excuse for it. It’s an insult. It’s disgusting. That is not what we are about.”
