Dead Man Walking! Bigfoot Silva Issues Real Threat Of Violence Ahead Of Covington’s Return To Brazil

Top UFC welterweight fighter Colby Covington has taken over for Chael Sonnen, as Brazil’s most hated American UFC fighter.

After defeating Demian Maia in Brazil, Covington would go on to call Brazilian’s “Filthy Animals”, and more.

His utter disregard for the Brazilian fight fans even got him hit in the face with a boomerang (see video above), by former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum.

Now, with a new fight booked that will see him face another Brazilian in RDA, in Brazil, Covington’s already receiving threats of violence.

At his own admission, he’s been told Brazilians have placed a price on his head, and hope to prevent him from making fight night.

But that’s not all.

Former UFC heavyweight title contender Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva is also chomping at the bit to get his hands on Colby.

Oddly, Silva and Covington both train out of South Florida’s American Top Team, so this dark message signals that it’s not all good at ATT.

Here’s what he said: (Translated)

Colby is scheduled to return to Brazil, a country that he cursed, he called dirty and the residents of animals …. I assure you that if he were to Paraíba they would surely make him on video apologize to our homeland and all who live there …. The first beating of him is already guaranteed on account of @rdosanjosmma we will wait after the fight.
