Women’s UFC strawweight Felice Herrig suffered a tough loss over the weekend. Now the mixed martial arts warrior has come forward with a statement concerning the recent defeat.
“Lil” Bulldog was on a four fight winning streak leading in to her latest match up. However, the fighter suffered a split decision loss when she faced off against Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
The two fighting phenoms faced off on the highly anticipated card of UFC 223. The live pay-per-view event went down Saturday night, April 7, inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Taking to Instagram, Herrig has now come forward with a message over her tough defeat. Check it out below:
“Well that’s the fight game. You win some you lose some. I have no shame. I left my heart in the cage tonight. Thank you Karolina for bringing it. I embrace tough fights like this. Nothing worth having comes easy. The better woman won tonight. I’m honored to have shared the Octagon with you”
