GDR Changes Her Mind, Wants Back At Featherweight After Giving Up Belt

It would appear that former women’s UFC featherweight champion Germaine De Randamie is now once again interested in making a run within the featherweight division.

De Randamie defeated former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm by unanimous decision back at UFC 208. The victory earned the fighter the inaugural position as the promotion’s featherweight title holder.

However, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) elected to strip De Randamie of her title after the fighter began voicing an interest in competing within the women’s bantamweight division, rather than defend her own title.

Now CrisCyborg.com has reported that they have been informed by undisclosed sources that the former champion is once again interested in competing within the women’s featherweight division.
