The UFC Has Released An Updated UFC 223 Poster, Removing Ferguson And Adding Max Holloway

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was put into a scramble over the weekend when Tony Ferguson managed to injure himself at a recent media event. Now the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion has provided an upadated look at the official UFC 223 poster.

UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson was initially set to face off against tough division contender Khabib Nurmagomedov within the main event of UFC 223. However, things have since changed.

Ferguson tripped over a cable at a recent media event, tearing his LCL. Consequently, “El Cucuy” has been removed from the night’s card.

Now Nurmagomedov is set to face off against UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway in the night’s main event. UFC 223 goes down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
