The Ultimate Fighting Championship is hosting another exciting day of fights on Saturday, April 14. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is in Glendale, Arizona for the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 29.
Inside the Gila River Arena, the UFC is putting on a series of stunning match ups. Now taking the octagon, American Top Team warrior Dhiego Lima is facing off against Yushin Okami in a battle for division dominance at 170 pounds. Check out the UFC results down below.
The first round kicked off at a blistering pace, as Lima fired off some brutal combinations on his opponent. Okami went on to take Lima down to the canvas, but Lima managed to avoid taking much of his opponent’s damage from his guard.
The second round fired off with another intense exchange. However, Okami managed to take Lima down to the canvas once again. This time, Lima managed to get back to his feet and dish out some punishment before the sound of the bell.
The two mixed martial artists traded shots early in the final round, with Lima landing some tough jabs over his opponent. Okami then managed to get the fighter back down to the canvas for another grappling exchange. However, neither fighter was able to get a finish before the sound of the bell.
This one has gone the distance.
