Fitch Survives Near Finish, Dominates Paul Daley In Bellator Debut

The time has finally come. Bellator welterweight Paul Daley is set to make his next big mixed martial arts performance, as Jon Fitch makes his Bellator debut.

Fight fans are making their way into the SAP Center in San Jose, California tonight, May 12, for the latest fight card from Bellator MMA. The mixed martial arts promotion is hosting the highly anticipated fight card of Bellator 199 for fight fans worldwide.

Co-headlining the night’s card, Paul Daley will be greeting Jon Fitch for his first fight under the promotion. Check out the Bellator results from the stunning bout down below:

The first round kicked off at a methodical pace. Daley opened the fight in a different fashion, not immediately rushing to his opponent. However, Fitch managed to take his opponent to the canvas and dish out some rough ground and pound. Back on his feet, Daley pummeled Fitch with some damaging strikes. But, the fighter was unable to get a finish before the sound of the bell.

Fitch snagged another takedown early in the second round, smashing his opponent with some tough ground and pound. Daley was unable to escape the position, making for a dominant round for Jon Fitch.

Much like the second, Fitch quickly took Daley to the canvas in the final round. However, once again, Daley was unable to capitalize on the round. This was another dominant performance from Fitch.
