Following Judging Controversy, Till Suggests Immediate “Wonderboy” Rematch In The United States

Last Sunday from Liverpool, Darren Till continued on his unbeaten pro run with a decision win over Stephen Thompson.

It was a striker’s delight headliner, and Till came out victorious.

Many though, including the UFC on FOX crew, thought that Till had a sizable hometown advantage, and only won because of the location. Fight fans around the world also believe that Thompson should have been given the victory on the judges cards.

Truth is, the fight was razor close, and it could have gone either way. This could be why in the wake of the slight controversy, Till suggests a rematch take place on American soil.

Here’s Till’s suggestion to remedy the situation: (Via Sportsjoe.ie)

“You’ve got all these experts out here saying this, saying that, because it was in Liverpool. If anyone wants me to go to America and fight Stephen again, [and] Stephen definitely wants it and he’s not injured, I can do that as soon as possible, that rematch.”
