Joanna Believes She’s One Win Away From Third Fight Against Rose Namajunas

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk is coming off of a tough two fight losing streak to reigning title holder Rose Namajunas. Still, the formerly undefeated fighter believes she will have another title shot by the end of the year.

Rose Namajunas shocked the world when she earned a first round TKO finish over Jedrzejczyk for the title back at UFC 217, putting an end to the champion’s dominant 14-0 undefeated streak. In their immediate rematch at UFC 223, the two mixed martial artists went the distance.

In the end, Namajunas earned a unanimous decision victory over her opponent. Now Jedrzejczyk is set to face off against Tecia Torres at UFC on FOX 30 come July 28.

Speaking on the latest edition of The MMA Hour, Jedrzejczyk revealed that she believes she will achieve yet another title shot by the end of the year.

“I have a big plan to get this belt back at the end of the year,” Jedrzejczyk said. Check out the fighter’s full thoughts on the matter within the video below:
