Surging Prospect Israel Adesanya Books UFC Main Event In Only Third Fight

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) up and comer Israel Adesanya has already managed to score a main event position, despite only having two octagon performances to his record.

Adesanya has put on a dominant run during his mixed martial arts career. Undefeated, the fighter has garnered a professional record of 13-0. Most recently, Adesanya walked away with a split decision victory over Marvin Vettori.

Now the fighting phenom is set to face off against Brad Tavares. The two will throw down for the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. The highly anticipated fight card will take place July 6 as part of International Fight Week.

The event will go down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
