50 Cent Threatens To Sue Media Over “Fake News” On His $1 Million Bellator Deal

Hip-hop legend 50 Cent has grown increasingly interested in the world of mixed martial arts as of late. The famous rapper first made waves in the world of MMA for having entered a heated social media war with Conor McGregor when “Notorious” was gearing up to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the squared circle.

Since then, a rumor has spread that the hip-hop icon is interesting in competing under Bellator MMA. While that has hardly come to fruition, 50 Cent has seemingly been growing his relationship with Bellator President Scott Coker, as the two have been seen together on multiple occasions.

Most recently, 50 Cent took to Instagram to claim that he sold his famous catch phrase “get the strap” to Bellator MMA for a massive $1 million. Check it out below:

“l did a deal today l sold (get the strap) for a million dollars to Viacom’s Bellator. So you will see lt on some cooler clothing shortly. see how l make something out of nothing. LOL”

Since then, news blog HipHopDX has reported that 50 Cent’s claim to have sold the catch phrase is false. In response, 50 Cent has decided to sue the news blog for using a photo of himself in their story.

“This sh*t is fake news Justin lvey, you better go fact check. Matter of fact I’m gonna sue you and this website for using my picture in the morning. get the strap”
