Dana White Follows Rousey’s Footsteps, Wins His First Pro-Wrestling Match

Dana White is the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). That being said, The UFC President was an entertainment wrestler on Friday.

Dana White, Matt Serra and Din Thomas are currently filming the latest season of the highly popular Lookin’ for a Fight series. The gang found their way to Memphis, Tennessee on Friday and met up with WWE Hall-of-Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler in the process.

The group were all involved in the independent wrestling event “Beale St. Brawl.” Taking to Twitter ahead of the match up, Dana White decided to put his promoting skills to work.

“We are in Memphis this week filming Lookin for a Fight. We will be Pro Wrestling at King Jerry Lawlers Bar and Grille Friday June 15th at 6 pm. Pop in!!!!!”

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has successfully transitioned into the world of professional wrestling, having made her way onto the WWE roster. While Rousey has been dominant inside the WWE ring, Dana White put on a victorious performance of his own in this independent event.
