Jon Jones Offers To Help Woodley Train To Destroy Colby Covington’s Career

Newly crowned UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington has earned the heated attention of reigning champion Tyron Woodley. Now it would appear that Jon Jones is now willing to help the title holder train for his fight against Covington.

Colby Covington has earned a bit of an infamous reputation within the sport of mixed martial arts. Picking up where fighters like Conor McGregor and Chael Sonnen left off, Covington has decided to take his trash-talking to new heights.

Often gaining the ire for his polarizing statements, Colby Covington still earned the interim welterweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 225 over the weekend. Shortly after, Covington called out Tyron Woodley for a title unification fight.

Tyron Woodley has since offered a heated response to Covington’s recent trash-talk. Now the reigning champion has revealed that former roommate to Colby Covington and former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is willing to help him prepare for the fight.

“I’ve never had so many people want to help me whoop some ass.” Woodley said. “Jon Jones hit me up. Jon don’t ever hit me up. Jon hit me up and said, ‘hey whatever you need, bra, I got you.'”
