Pay Report: Holm, Gadelha, CM Punk, More, Don’t Crack The $5k Mark In UFC Payouts

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has hosted yet another exciting night of fights. With the highly anticipated fight card now in the books, the time has come to take a look at the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts.

The live pay-per-view event of UFC 225 took place on Saturday, June 9, from within the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event featured a series of interesting match ups.

Colby Covington earned a close decision victory over Rafael dos Anjos for the interim welterweight title, while Yoel Romero lost a close decision of his own to Robert Whittaker. Meanwhile, CM Punk made his octagon return in a match up against Mike Jackson.

As part of their compensation for competing inside the octagon, UFC fighters are rewarded with UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay. Fighters are granted money for complying with everything from media obligations and outfitting requirements to items under the UFC code of conduct.

With that being said, more than a few fighters walked away from the octagon on Saturday with little pay from the program. Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm and women’s strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha were just a few of the fighters to only walk away with $5,000 from the program.
