Ricardo Lamas Loses In Front Of Hometown Chicago Crowd | UFC Results

Fight fans are taking to the United Center in Chicago, Illinois this weekend for another exciting night of fights. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting the exciting fight card of UFC 225 for the Chicago crowd.

Continuing the night of stunning FS1 prelims, featherweights Ricardo Lamas and Mirsad Bektic are going toe-to-toe in a fight for division supremacy. The UFC results from the exciting match up can be found below.

The first round was largely a wrestling match between the two mixed martial artists. Bektic managed to get his opponent to the canvas a few times, but Lamas continuously returned to the feet without taking any severe damage. This will be a tough round for the judges.

In the second round, Bektic quickly pressured Lamas to the fence from the clinch. However, Lamas managed to escape the position and dish out some powerful strikes. After entering a few exchanges on the feet, Lamas and Bektic left another difficult round for the judges.

Bektic took Lamas to the canvas early in the final round after Lamas slipped from a head kick. However, Lamas managed to lock in a guillotine attempt.

Still, the fighter was unable to get a finish before the sound of the bell. This one has gone the distance.
