‘Brock Lesnar Will Be My Last Fight’

Newly crowned two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier recently claimed that he does not plan to fight in his 40’s. Well, the champion has now come forward to claim that former UFC heavyweight title holder Brock Lesnar will be his final opponent inside the octagon.

UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier moved up in weight to challenge UFC heavyweight title holder Stipe Miocic for his belt in the main event of UFC 226. Cormier knocked out Miocic within the first round for a massive and historic win.

Cormier is now only the second fighter in UFC history to simultaneously hold two division titles. Speaking to MMANytt.com, Daniel Cormier confirmed that Brock Lesnar will be his final opponent. However, D.C. may defend his light heavyweight title before facing Lesnar.

“He’ll be the last one. He’ll be the last fight of my career. Will he be next? I don’t know. I hope so but I’ve still got a belt to defend at 205 [pounds] to think about.”
