Chookagian Defeats Former UFC Title Challenger Alexis Davis | UFC Results

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting another exciting night of fights this weekend. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC on FOX 30 for fight fans in Calgary, Canada on Saturday, July 28.

The promotion is currently deep into the UFC Fight pass preliminary card for the event. Continuing the night of fights, women’s flyweight Alexis Davis and Katlyn Chookagian are throwing down in a battle for division supremacy.

Chookagian an Davis spent much of the first round trading with some powerful shots. Chookagian appeared to be just slightly edging out her opponent in the standup, but Davis continued to land some tough shots throughout the fight.

The second round was much of the same. Davis began walking down her opponent, but Chookagian continued to land tough shots on her opponent.

It was seemingly a strong round for Davis, as the fighter pummeled Chookagian with a series of leg kicks. However, this still might be a tough five minutes for the judges.

Chookagian opened up strongly in the third round, having hurt Davis with a right hand followed up with a head kick. Still, Davis continued to walk down her opponent and dish out some tough shots of her own.

Davis landed a takedown in the final moments of the round, ending the fight with a good look for the judges. This one has gone the distance.
