Colby Covington Issues A Statement On D.C.’s Historic Win, Drowns Jon Jones In The Process

Interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington is not friends with former UFC light heavyweight title holder Jon Jones. The two fighters were once roommates, but have since become enemies.

Jon Jones’ most heated rival Daniel cormier made UFC history over the weekend and Covington has decided to support D.C. in his recent accomplishment, much to the detriment of “Bones” Jones.

Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones have been going at it over social media for some time now. Cormier mentioned himself within the conversation for greatest fighter of all time, to which Jon Jones offered a critical response over Twitter.

Well, Cormier became the second UFC fighter in history to simultaneously wield multiple division titles on Saturday when he knocked out Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight belt. Colby Covington has since gone to Twitter to pronounce Cormier as the definitive GOAT.
