Cris Cyborg Doubles Down, No Interest In Fighting Amanda Nunes in Dec.

UFC women’s featherweight champion and UFC women’s bantamweight title holder Amanda Nunes have been looking to finalize a super fight for some time. While Nunes wants to fight in December, Cyborg is adamant on fighting sooner in the year.

Amanda Nunes began the exchange with an offer.

“Waiting on you. @criscyborg #ufc232 December 29”

Cyborg later hit the internet with a response.

“I agreed for second time , fight Amanda Nunes September 8 #UFCdallas #UFC228 my last fight was 4 months ago. I’m ready to fight.”

Following up her first message, Cyborg revealed that she wishes to fight at UFC 228.

“Since @Amanda_Leoa wants me to sit 10 months without fighting… any Featherweights willing to fight #ufc228? Nunes last fight only sold 85k ppv ….I’m not counting on much help from her to reach that $2.50 ppv bonus.”

Now Cyborg has decided to double down by revealing that she has no interest in waiting for Dec. to fight.

“I am ready, able, and willing to fight ANY opponent now. I am willing to fight Amanda Nunes on the September 8 date that was discussed. I am not willing to wait until December for a bout.”
