Cris Cyborg Once Again Pulls Back From Nunes Fight, Roasts Amanda In The Process

UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and women’s bantamweight title holder Amanda Nunes have been looking to fight each other for some time. However, it would appear that the two mixed martial artists are once again failing to come to an agreement in their negotiations.

Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes began talking about fighting each other ahead of UFC 224. After negotiations fell flat, Nunes went on to defend her title from Raquel Pennington.

Taking to Twitter, Amanda Nunes revealed that she has signed a fight contract for this Dec. to fight Cyborg.

“Waiting on you. @criscyborg #ufc232 December 29”

Cyborg quickly responded that she wants a fight in Sept., not Dec.

“I agreed for second time , fight Amanda Nunes September 8 #UFCdallas #UFC228 my last fight was 4 months ago. I’m ready to fight.”

Now Cyborg has come forward to reveal that she seemingly has no interest in bending on her demands. Check it out below:

“Since @Amanda_Leoa wants me to sit 10 months without fighting… any Featherweights willing to fight #ufc228? Nunes last fight only sold 85k ppv ….I’m not counting on much help from her to reach that $2.50 ppv bonus.”
