The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. tonight, July 7, for International Fight Week. The highly anticipated fight card for UFC 226 is going down right now for the Las Vegas crowd, featuring a series of intense match ups.

The fight opened up at a methodical pace, as neither fighter was looking to leave themselves exposed to a power shot from their opponent. Lewis began to open with shots after the first minute of the round, but Ngannou continued to conserve his energy. This was a positive round for Lewis.

Derrick Lewis appeared to be noting issues with his back in between rounds, as the fighter has suffered debilitating back issues before. In the second round, the two fighters continued to compete cautiously.

The crowd began to loudly boo and flair their phone lights as the fight failed to pick up pace. The referee then momentarily halted the bout to offer a rare timidity warning to Ngannou and Lewis.

The fight quickly picked back up, as the two fighters began to pick shots on each other. However, the round still ended uneventfully.

The final round continued at a sluggish pace, as neither fighter was seemingly willing to trade in the center of the octagon. With neither fighter having dished out almost any significant damage, the match ultimately went the distance.
