Former Champ Anthony Pettis Gets Savage On Twitter, Calls Out Nate Diaz and “Raging” Al

Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is riding a stunning octagon performance from UFC 226. Now the former title holder has come forward to announce which fighters he is targeting for his next match up.

Anthony Pettis faced off against Michael Chiesa at UFC 226 on Saturday, July 7. Pettis made short work of his opponent, earning a submission victory by triangle armbar within the second round.

Now taking to Twitter, Pettis has decided to call out Al Iaquinta and UFC superstar Nate Diaz. In the process, the former champion took a shot at the Diaz brothers with a heated hashtag. Check it out below:

“Yo @ALIAQUINTA I’m down 2 Fight @ufc said you are out indefinitely @NateDiaz209 what’s up don’t be scared homie #teampettis #fuckthediazbrothers @danawhite”

Al Iaquinta recently pulled out of his fight against Justin Gaethje. Meanwhile, Nate Diaz has not competed inside the octagon since his two fight rivalry with Ireland native Conor McGregor.
