Max Holloway Reacts To Being Name Dropped In Drake’s New Song

Hip-hop superstar Drake recently dropped a new album. Upon listening, many fight fans began to pick up on a particular line of lyrics that seemed to namedrop none other than UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway. Now “Blessed” has come forward with a response.

Drake released a massive 25-song double album on Friday, June 29, titled Scorpion. Within the track “8 Out Of 10,” Drake appears to reference the UFC featherweight title holder.

Check out the lyrics below:

“Max said they only bless when they attached to you/The only deadbeats is whatever beats I been rappin’ to/And the product is still the best though/It’s only good in my city because I said so/Just to fit the estate man, I had to cop a feel like presto, voilà, tada/Never a matter of ‘could I?’ or ‘should I?’/Kiss my son on the forehead then kiss your ass goodbye/As luck would have it I’ve settled into my role as the good guy/I guess luck is on your side”

Now Max Holloway has come forward with a response to the matter. Check it out:
