Video Of Holloway’s Pre-Fight Condition Sends Red Flags Through The MMA World

UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is no longer set to defend his title this weekend. After being pulled from his upcoming match up due to an injury, a video of the reigning title holder looking rough prior during his media rounds has made its way to the internet.

Max Holloway was originally set to face undefeated contender Brian Ortega in the co-main event of UFC 226. The highly anticipated fight card will take place July 7 from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be available live on pay-per-view.

However, Holloway has since been pulled from the fight for suffering concussion-like symptoms. Before the fight’s cancellation, Holloway appeared on UFC Tonight via a live video feed.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping pointed out during the interview that Holloway “looked like he just got out of bed.” Holloway can be seen seemingly tired during the interview, causing Bisping’s concern.
