Former UFC light heavyweight champion Volkan Oezdemir is out of his big match up against Alexander Gustafsson. Now the talented mixed martial artist has come forward with a photo of the injury that caused the fight cancellation.
Oezdemir and Gustafsson were initially set to throw down on the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 227. The live pay-per-view event is set to take place Aug. 4 from within the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
However, Volkan Oezdemir was eventually pulled from the fight after citing an injury. Taking to Instagram, Oezdemir has decided to share a photo of his gruesomely broken nose for all to see.
