Andrew Sanchez Defeats Markus Perez At UFC Lincoln

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is delivering an excellent night of fights for fans worldwide this weekend. Now fight fans can take a look at the UFC results from the event’s latest match up.

UFC Fight Night 135 is taking place inside the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska this Saturday on Aug. 25. Continuing the night of fights on the FOX Sports 2 preliminary card, middleweights Andrew Sanchez and Markus Perez are throwing down for the Lincoln crowd.

The fight opened up at a methodical pace, as the two fighters began measuring out each other’s range and pacing. Sanchez managed to pressure his opponent into the fence to engage in some dirty boxing.

Perez made it back to the center of the octagon to dish out a few choice shots before the sound of the bell. Still, this was seemingly a strong round for Sanchez.

Perez entered the second round with a vengeance, dishing out a series of powerful combinations against his opponent. However, within the final minute of the round, Sanchez managed to smash Perez with a right hand that seemed to slightly rock the fighter. Finishing the five minute exchange from the dominant position on the ground, Sanchez put on a strong performance in the second round.

Perez appeared to be gassed early in the final round and Sanchez decided to take advantage. The fighter began pouring on the pressure against Perez, rushing the fighter into the fence for some more dirty boxing.

However, neither fighter was able to get a finish before the sound of the bell. This one has gone the distance.
