Angela Magana Breaks Her Silence On Sixth Straight Loss, In Today’s RIZIN Debut

Former UFC women’s strawweight Angela Magana made her first mixed martial arts performance since being cut from the UFC’s roster earlier today. Following the tough defeat, Angela Magana has now come forward with a statement.

Angela Magana began her journey within the UFC by competing on The Ultimate Fighter 20. While Magana did not come out on top during the season, the fighter still managed to land a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Magana would then go 0-3 inside the octagon, before the UFC elected to cut the fighter from the promotion’s roster. Overall, Magana was on a five fight losing streak after being dropped by the UFC.

The mixed martial artist most recently made her debut performance under Rizin Fighting Federation early Sunday morning at Rizin FF 12 in Nagoya, Japan. Magana ultimately suffered a second round submission loss to opponent Kanako Murata, putting the fighter on a six fight losing streak.
