Chaos Continues In Featherweight Division And Nate Diaz Continues To Drop In Latest UFC Rankings Update

UFC superstar Nate Diaz has not competed inside the octagon since 2016. Now it would appear that the Stockton native is dropping in the official UFC lightweight rankings following his inactivity.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has experienced some big changes to the official rankings as of late. Conor McGregor has made headway in the pound-for-pound and lightweight rankings. Beyond that, the return of Team Alpha Male’s Chad Mendez has shaken up the featherweight division.

Nate Diaz, who is currently set to fight Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 on Nov. 3, has dropped to No. 11 in the lightweight division. Following his flyweight title loss, Demetrious Johnson has since suffered a massive drop in the pound-for-pound rankings. However, two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier remains at the rankings’ peak.
