Jon Jones Casts His Official Prediction For D.C. vs. Brock Lesnar

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and reigning two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier have formed quite the rivalry over the years. While Jon Jones is still awaiting USADA’s verdict concerning another failed drug test, D.C. is already targeting another match up.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier had their massive rematch back at UFC 214 in 2017. Jones earned a knockout victory over his opponent. However, the result was quickly overturned to a no contest, as Jon Jones failed a drug test for the event.

Since then, Daniel Cormier has been reinstated as the UFC light heavyweight champion and has gone on to earn the UFC heavyweight title with a historic knockout over Stipe Miocic back at UFC 226.

Daniel Cormier has since called out former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar for his first heavyweight title defense. Speaking to Russian media in a recent interview, as seen within the video provided down below, Jon Jones has now come forward with his prediction for Daniel Cormier’s hopeful fight against Brock Lesnar.

“I’m definitely very excited to see Cormier fight Brock Lesnar. I think Daniel Cormier wins the fight. He’s just too fast. I feel like when I fought him he was quicker than me with certain combinations. I can only imagine he’s going to be a lot quicker than Brock Lesnar.”
