Last Night At UFC Lincoln, A Referee Got Fired In The Middle Of The Fights

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another exciting night of fights last night. However, it would appear that one of the night’s referees was pulled from the event following his stoppage decision.

The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted the highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 135 on Saturday, Aug. 25, from within the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. Featured in the night’s event, featherweights Cory Sandhagen and Iuri Alcantara put on a stunning performance for the Lincoln crowd.

After a bloody octagon war, Sandhagan was ultimately awarded a second round TKO victory over his opponent. However, TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter has since reported that the referee for the event, Brandon Pfannenstiel, was removed from the event following his stoppage of the fight.
