Michael Johnson Wins Controversial Decision Over Andre Fili In Tonight’s Co-Main Event | UFC Results

The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting the highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 135 this Saturday, Aug. 25, from within the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In the night’s stunning co-main event, Team Alpha Male’s Andre Fili is now facing off against Michael Johnson in an intense octagon war for the Lincoln crowd.

Andre Fili opened up the fight with a furry, pummeling his opponent with some vicious strikes. Johnson began landing some power shots of his own, but Fili refused the back down.

The two mixed martial artists continued to battle it out from the center of the octagon, with Fili seemingly getting the better of his opponent in many of the exchanges.

In the second round, Fili began pouring on the pressure once again. Michael Johnson then landed an accidental kick below the belt on his opponent, bringing the fight to a momentary pause.

After the action resumed, Fili managed to get his opponent to the canvas before sinking in a rear-naked choke attempt. However, Johnson managed to reverse his position and take full guard over his opponent.

Fili managed to take his opponent down early in the final round. However, Johnson made it back to his feet.

Fili began consistently throwing head kicks to his opponent, as Johnson was left fighting on his back foot. However, neither fighter was able to get a finish. This one has gone the distance.
