More UFC Fighters Speak Out Against Bruce Buffer After Disrespect Towards Nate Diaz

Veteran voice of the octagon Bruce Buffer recently delivered a few critical words concerning UFC superstar Nate Diaz. While the Stockton native has since provided a response, another fighter has now decided to voice their opinion on the matter.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Bruce Buffer first responded to Nate Diaz’s recent complaints with the UFC’s promotion of him for his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier.

“I love Nate, but he’s always got a bad taste in his mouth. Nate, I heard you made $7 (million) or more dollars on your last fight. I don’t want to hear you complaining about being underpromoted by the UFC.

“You should be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White every time you see him, (and) Ari Emmanuel, Patrick Whitesell. You’ve got $7 (million) or more dollars gross, before taxes, maybe much more – which I love knowing that you have, Nate. Please – I don’t want to hear any more.”

Nate Diaz swiftly retaliated with a few words of his own over Twitter.

“Bruce Buffer wtf get off the Ufc nuts your bowing down right now tellling me to bow down? fuck that u keep bowing down.
I Bow down to no one ever for alll the money n the world…”

“With all do respect @brucebuffer”

Bruce Buffer has since taken to the social media platform to offer a somewhat apologetic retort.

“With all respect Nate that is not what I meant by saying the word ‘bow’, I meant it as a sign of respect as in when greeting someone, not a sign of submission as I’d never expect you to do that for anyone @NateDiaz209”

Now former UFC fighter and founder of MMA fighter unionization effort Project Spearhead, Leslie Smith has come forward with a few words on the recent criticism from Bruce Buffer. Check it out below.

“No UFC fighter owes the promotion. The promotion exists because of the fighters. Anybody in business with the UFC knows how fighters get treated- sub par at best. The fighters I know HAD a lot of respect for Bruce Buffer. Too bad Buffer didn’t have respect for the fighters.”
